PRINTING

DTG is the ideal process for complicated or photographic type artwork. It does not have setup charges, which makes it very ecomonic for short runs.
Transfer printing gives bright and sharp images that will print onto most surfaces. Ideal for company logo's and long lasting. No setup charges, so cheap to use for short runs.
Screen printing is very economic when you need longer runs. This is a very flexible and durable process.
Embroidery will aways give you that quality look. You can have as many colours as you like and it will last forever.

PRINTING

You have probably picked the garment you require and they are sitting in the shopping cart waiting for you to check out. Now you have got to decided how you are going to customize or as others call it, decorate your clothing. There are six categories in this section which I will give you advice on.
T-shirt Printing is becoming a generic term like "hoover" to describe the decoration or customisation of more or less any type of garment, from t-shirts to reversible jackets. This is a huge topic and requires a great knowledge of different materials and printing or embroidery processes. I am going to explain most of these, but if you would prefer to leave it to us, just give us a call. The advice we will give you will take into account the end usage of the garment, quality, cost, and longevity needed.
T shirt printing covers all types of printing. This means that you can just pick this product and we will advice you of the best process to use for your job.
T shirt printing is a complex field as are most forms of printing. Most new customers that ask us for a quote don't wish to spend a few hours learning the benefits of each of the different way we can print your t shirt! All they usually care about is the best comprimise we can come up with between the following four points:
- Quality
- Durability
- Price
- Dead line
It is pretty obvious that every one wants a good quality job! But if you just want to say "Happy Birthday Grandad" in big black letters, there is no point in using a process that is capable of printing high definition photographs, that will cost five times as much as another form of t-shirt printing that would give you lovely lettering anyway!
There is a big difference when it comes to the durability needed for workwear or school uniforms, to say a t-shirt that will be worn once for a Hen Night. Unsurprisingly this has a big effect on not only the cost of the printing, but also the type of garment, this applies to t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Every one wants a cheap price and in the case of a one night Stag-do this is not a problem. If you are buying workwear that will represent your company where ever your employees go, then it is a false economy. A scruffy looking uniform gives a very poor impression.
Reality has to come into the equation. Time and again companies will spend months planning an exhibition stand, only to leave the question of staff uniforms to the last minute. The different options we can offer you for t shirt printing have vastly different lead times. As much as everybody loves the quality effect of embroidery, you can not get it done in 24 hours!
